Drain clogs are common household problems that we help solve.
Many times the clogs in our bathroom sink drains are caused by a mixture of soap scum, hair, or built-up residue.
Kitchen sink drains can be clogged because of improper waste disposal, such as food compost and shellfish peelings.
If you notice that water is draining very slowly, it’s most likely due to a clog.
To unclog your sink drain, we recommend first boiling some hot water in a kettle and pouring it down the drain. Reserve half of the hot water for a second pour.
If you have a baking soda and vinegar in your kitchen pantry, create a liquid mixture to help loosen the clog. You can do this by taking 1/2 cup of baking soda and 1/2 cup of white vinegar. Once you create the mixture, pour the liquid down your sink drain.
Leave the liquid to stand for about 10-15 minutes.
Finally, pour the reserved hot water down the drain, which should help clear any blockages.
After removing the clogs, our customers usually ask if there is a way to keep drain maintenance.
We recommend customers to pour hot water down their sink drain once every week.

Does your sink faucet have low water pressure? If so, this could be due to a clogged aerator. This is a small cylindrical top that you screw into the end of your faucet, where the water flows out. The aerator may be clogged with calcium deposits and mineral residue that has built up from hard water.
If you find that this is the case, you can easily solve this problem by cleaning the piece with a small brush and a baking soda and vinegar solution.
If you still notice that the faucet has low water pressure, check under your sink cabinet to see if the water supply valve is opened all the way.
When you find the valve, turn the handle counter-clockwise to open the water supply.
